Golf School at Westgate Painted Mountain Resort & Las Sendas Golf Club

Stay at the Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort in Mesa, Arizona — a spacious villa-style resort nestled amid the scenic Sonoran Desert — while receiving world-class PGA golf instruction at Las Sendas Golf Club, widely regarded as one of the Top 10 golf courses in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, and all of Arizona.

Westgate Painted Mountain offers studios, one- and two-bedroom villas with fully equipped kitchens, a heated outdoor pool, two hot tubs, fitness center, and easy access to your playing and practice facility. As a bonus, guests enjoy a FREE extra day of golf at the neighboring Painted Mountain Golf Resort — a stunning championship course right next door.

Golf instruction and play takes place at Las Sendas Golf Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 1995. Winding through the Usery Mountains nearly 1,800 feet above the desert floor, Las Sendas delivers spectacular views of the Phoenix skyline and a demanding desert-style layout that makes every round an unforgettable experience.

Your instructor, James Contreras, is a PGA Class A Member since 1992 and has been a Teaching Professional at Las Sendas since 2002. James provides individual analysis and tailors each student's program — from beginners to competitive players, seniors, and couples.
