Arizona Golf Schools Teaching Philosophy

We teach people, not systems. There are no two golfers exactly alike; nor is one method of golf instruction equally effective for all types of players. That’s why at the Arizona Golf Schools, you are taught according to your own unique physical characteristics and capabilities. You will learn to complement your strengths and concentrate on those aspects in which you need the most improvement. We will help you understand the basic golf swing fundamentals and components of proper golf swing made for your body type.

Using high-speed video equipment, we will help you develop a more consistent golf swing that works with every club in your bag. You’ll learn self analysis and the proper way to practice. We will help you understand the process of learning and applying repeatable simple motor skills to your golf swing. By attending one of the Arizona Golf Schools, you can have a clear understanding of the correct golf swing fundamentals. You will be able to ultimately maintain these correct concepts for the rest of you're golfing life.

On-Course Golf Instruction

The Arizona Golf Schools believes it is vital to spend time learning the game on the golf course. We teach the entire game, not just the golf swing. Our golf school is taught by past and present tour players. They fully understand the fundamentals and management skills it takes to play a better game of golf. They help you accomplish the skills it takes lead you to lower scores.

Each afternoon is spent with on-course golf instruction learning sound fundamentals. You’ll learn from situations that can’t be taught on the range or in a classroom.

Over 50% of this game is played inside of 100 yards. We devote half of the on-course time to improving your short game skills. These skills include putting, chipping, pitching, bunker techniques, and our award-winning “Scoring Zone” program.

You will learn all the basics of good course management. Let’s face it, not even the best players in the game hit the ball well all the time. Even if your game is not at its best, good course management skills and a solid short game will be the key to acheiving a lower score!

On-Course Golf Instruction

All Arizona Golf Schools PGA, LPGA & PGTCA instructors have a minimum 15 years experience in their ability to improve your game in all facets. Not only do our Instuctors have extended training in the full swing, but also in our “Performance Zone” program.
